Washed in Tidal Change...

An annual pilgrimage down to a hideaway cottage in Cornwall with dear friends. This is our retreat, just being, on the edge of the sea, for a time and space for renewal, re-connecting with nature, ourselves and the elements, letting go of responsibilities and stepping into rest, relaxation and creative inspiration. Each year we share stories, make good food, enjoy doing and dreaming, scribbling into journal pages. This time I write a children’s story about the art of fretting and fearing, it features Scardey Cat, and I take my journal on a walk across the headland and speak the pages out loud across the clifftops, while the wind blows and the tide changes.
