DRAWING INSPIRATION

A background in social engagement art, health and education, in addition to my own practice of making art, I enjoy facilitating others to explore creativity to develop insight, inspiration and well-being. Experienced exhibiting in the south-west together with delivering a range of commissioned workshops. A love of people, I have for many years been commission by the Royal West of England Academy, Bristol, Learning & Engagement Team, delivering art on prescription and creativity workshops in the community. Also for the RWA Drawing School, facilitating a range of playful workshops, such as Experimental Portraiture, Visual Journaling and my latest theme is The Family Tree.

Interested in contemporary portraiture, my practice is all about visual storytelling, and I have a love of sharing my passion for the process of transforming our stories into art that is less than perfect with making artworks that are playful, personal, expressive, and meaningful, believing art has the power to unlock our potential.

I share my diverse practice with adults and children, unlocking ideas and imagination through visual storytelling, journaling, drawing, writing, painting, collaging, textile assembling, stitching and imagining!

In my garden studio in Wiltshire, I offer small tailor-made groups and mentoring sessions too.
